Winemaker: Kristin Shute.
Region: Valle de Guadalupe.
Fermentation: 24 months in French and American oak.
Visual: Deep red.
Nose: Sweet black cherry with background aromas of ripe plum.
Taste: Attack of these same flavors nicely balanced with a dried flower petal herbaceousness in the evolution and with complexly dusty yet sweet tannins in the long finish.
Pairing: Not very fatty red meats, pasta with tomato-based sauces, roasted dishes.
